Jean-Francois Needs Surgery--January 2014

This man’s name is Jean-Francois and he is 30 years old and lives in Port-au-Prince.

Jean-Francois has had this mass on his lower jaw for several years now. It is rock hard but he has no enlarged lymph nodes on his neck. His general health is fine.

I believe this is a benign tumor called an ameloblastoma and originates in the jaw near his molars. It has never been biopsied. We can provide a CAT scan of his jaw.

Jean Francois’s passport will be done in mid-February.

If you know of any surgeon who would be interested in removing this please let me know.

Haitian Hearts would obtain his visa and his roundtrip airplane tickets and escort him to the accepting medical center.
