Oniste in 2015--January 2015

 Oniste Honore returned to Colorado this week for a checkup with Dr. Wayne Yakes at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado.

Dr. Yakes and his team removed a large tumor from Oniste’s forehead in 2013. It had been growing for three long years in Haiti. Oniste was slowly dwindling away as this cancer ate her up.

However, her MRI yesterday was clear and Oniste is doing great. And her four year old daughter in Haiti is very glad her mom is back with her in Haiti functioning as a mom and not as an invalid waiting for the end to come.
