When we first take them in at the orphanage they can be aggressive. They frequently have been abused.

The other night one homeless boy was doused in gasoline and set on fire by other homeless boys. He has a 25% full thickness burn and his eyes are scarred shut. We have him in Santo Domingo now on the ventilator.

But after they start school with us and get a meal each day they calm down. Usually.
