This blog is about sick Haitian children with bad hearts who need heart surgery.

It is about great surgery, healing, and abandonment by a Catholic medical center.

It is about fear in the shadows of a powerful medical center that exerts much influence over everyone.

It is about fallible men who run the Catholic Church in Peoria who seem to have forgotten why they are Catholic.

It is about conflict of interest and corruption in Peoria and in Port-au-Prince.

It is about fear in Haiti where their government and other governments abandon millions.

It is about personal abandonment.

And, unlike what our mothers taught us, not everything has a good ending.
