Sweet Angelina--Dec 2019

Angelina was buried today.

We were late in trying to help her. Angelina’s disease was too far advanced and she was just too weak for us to successfully intervene.

Angelina leaves a mother and sisters in Port-au-Prince who are grieving her loss.

We would have liked to have brought Angelina’s mother to the funeral today but mother has no passport or visa and the streets in Port the last three months have been too dangerous to acquire these documents.

I would like to thank the entire medical staff who treated Angelina with the utmost respect, love, and professionalism.

And a huge thank you to Shana who never left Angelina’s side and consoled her until the end.
