Haiti Assures the United States

 

The Haitian Minister of Foreign Affairs tweeted this the other day:

"We are confident that the great tradition of its democratic institutions will enable the United States to rise up and quickly turn this dark page in its history."

What? 

Haiti has a coup almost as often as I have a cup of coffee.   

And the Haitian minister is appropriately applying some poultice for our brief romance with sedition.

I guess anything is possible.
